I have many different passions in life, and you'll see, hear, and find them all here on this website. Music has always been my first love, and it’s the path I’ve chosen as my main professional career. As a bassist that plays doublebass, e-bass and synthbass, as performing composer and arranger, I thrive on versatility. I play in a wide range of musical settings from playing in Orchestras to free improvised music, from beat-oriented groove music to swing dance music from the 20s-40s, from free improvised techno to my own compositions in a modern jazz setting.
Beyond music I am also an enthusiastic photographer. In 2019 I got my grandfathers old analoge camera, a Praktika MTL 3. I started shooting film and learned how to manually shoot photos. This sparked a curiosity that lives inside me until today. In 2022 I bought myself a Fujifilm X-E4 which I have taken on countless travels and concerts over the past years.
I love to take pictures of musicians, interesting people and places. If you need new portraits, pictures from your performance or your BTS studio recording, new band photos or just some casual pictures I would love to get in touch.
I also love traveling and being active outdoors. I love cycling and bikepacking, climbing, camping as well as cooking and spending time with family and friends and I am always curious to try new things.
